The PATH MEDICAL team is a combination of talented developers, engineers, scientists who embody innovations in the most modern and effective devices for hearing diagnostics.

It is a team consisting of departments of development, production, quality management, service and operations (purchase, sales, incoming inspection, supply).

The PATH MEDICAL team of engineers has been working in the industry since 1998 and is the “grandfather” of the ABR and OAE algorithms used in products of various brands around the world.

Only since 2009 have these algorithms become available in PATH MEDICAL’s own branded products called SENTIERO. They are regularly updated and maintained, providing continuous improvement of PATH technology and significant benefits for the end user. Since 2009, unique achievements have been provided on the basis of the SENTIERO platform:

• Serving newborn hearing testing and tracking in Germany since 2007, PATH MEDICAL introduced pathTrack as a complete solution with wireless and data protection, a “ready-made solution” for newborn hearing testing programs. In general, pathTrack is the most common tracking program!
• Introducing the first OAE platform with audiometer and touch screen in 2009.
• Introduction of the first ABR diagnostic system in a portable device in 2012, including battery life. SENTIERO can be controlled remotely from a PC.
• Introducing the industry’s first touch screen tympanometer in 2014.
• Introducing the world’s fastest DPOAE algorithm with multi-frequency stimulation and FMDPOAE® in 2016 – up to 4 times faster than competing devices!
• Introducing the most advanced / fastest ABR and ASSR module – SP2 technology allows the use of ASSR SP2 and ABR SP2 from 2017.
• Introducing the world’s first comprehensive diagnostic device for OAE, audiometry, ABR, ASSR, tympanometry, reflexology and eABR in 2018.
• 2020 – Presentation of another probe for testing, with a direct design, allows you to choose the optimal workflow when placing the probe.
• Development of the world’s smallest USB tympanometer nanoTymp, running a Windows PC, MacOS or even an Android smartphone!
• 2021 – development and serial production of the world’s most modern device for newborn hearing screening – QSCREEN audiometer with the world’s first UAE probe with noise reduction.
